Being our first time dining in an Irish Pub in Melbourne, interestingly, we had to pay first before food is served. We ordered Irish Stew, Roast Beef & Potterhouse Steak. The stew was just so-so cos it tasted more like eating baby food. Perhaps, credit goes to the chef who used fresh herbs. The Roast Beef was the star of the evening. Perhaps not a top notch dish. And the Potterhouse Steak was second. Also not a WOW. However, the bubbly & friendly new owner who just started 5 days ago suggested an Irish dessert which turned out to be a brownie with vanilla ice cream. Not too bad, i mean the taste. The premise was huge with the upstairs decorated with nostalgic antiques & a nicely painted Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Man' on the ceiling. I like the ambience, cosy & relaxing.
