After being away from home for 3+ years on a recent visit to catch up with family and friends we decided to meet at Transport for a few drinks. After a few hours of enjoying a few drinks and laughs, the security approached one of our group who had just been dancing and asked him to leave for no reason. When we questioned why, he said he was drunk which he clearly wasn't. After a few minutes another friend returned from the bathroom only to be told he was also to leave. Reason given was that he stumbled down the stairs which was complete nonsense. Then he just looked at me and said I could leave too and proceeded to call in additional security to assist in getting us out of there. I was with my wife (who is Indian decent), brother-in-law and his girlfriend and possibly due to the other reviewers comments, they did not ask them to leave.
We are all mature adults (one of our group is an ex-security himself) and understand these guys have a job to do, but one of them in particular is obviously on a power trip and the management need to take a closer look at how these guys are operating as they are going to lose business which they did as we were about to look at getting some food there!
I normally respect what these guys do as it is not easy having to deal with people after a few drinks, but the team at Transport have some serious issues.
