“Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013 via mobile

Stayed recently for 5 nights while going to Aus Open. Clean well situated in Little Bourke. Close to theatres, cbd, Lygon St and many restaurants. Provided daily breakfast which was adequate for a quick brekkie. Beds comfy and staff helpful. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for one night when we went to the Australian Open. We were able to check-in a little early and were courteously treated by reception. Our room on the first floor overlooked Little Bourke Street and was quite spacious for a studio apartment. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There was a safe in the room, but we did not need to use it. There was little street noise overnight and the garbage trucks in the early morning hours were OK. The in-room continental breakfast was adequate and the little kitchenette was sufficient to make toast and coffee. The location is great for access to public transport, shops in the CBD, and Chinatown.

This was our second stay and we would definitely stay return.

Booked City Limits again for our recent two night stay, cannot beat the location and price, the room has everything we require, small kitchenette, comfortable beds. We used the parking which if you need a park you should definitely book in advance as the spaces are limited.

Great dining options nearby, trams and trains are just a quick walk away. Happy to recommend this as a good accommodation option in central Melbourne.

Clean, excellent location and cheap! Lovely receptionist who went out of her way to help out. Love the mini kitchenette. It was great to take a bath after walking the streets of Melbs. Would definitely stay with them again!

We were very happy to have found this little very cozy hotel. The rooms are very nice, relaxing, comfortable and have everything you need. The bathroom is nice and clean and also has everything some of what you could possible need. We got to the hotel around 11 in the morning and we were allowed to check in into the room. Accommodation was lovely, service was fantastic. We had the most comfortable night sleep. Very handy! The hotel is conveniently located - location is right in the CBD. Close to department stores, restaurants and tourist attractions. Free wifi all over the hotel.

Perfect! We will for sure return to this hotel next time we are in Melbourne. Everything was just wonderful. Really, really loved it here. Nothing was too much trouble. Was happy with the price I paid for the service I received.

I was dubious about the City Limits, given it's location, I thought the price was way too cheap.

Fortunately the hotel exceeded my expectations, it was clean, and had all of the facilities I was looking for for a 4 night stay.

The furnishings were modern, clean and well looked after, bathroom likewise, clean with a good sized tub for a soak after a day of walking around Melbourne.

The included breakfast suited me down to the ground, as the time difference from Perth made it too tempting to sleep in - Simple, but filling, cereal, Toast and a selection of Juice selected on an order sheet and left in the room's refrigerator daily for the following day.

My only bug-bear with the hotel was the occasional noise from the restaurants and apartments nearby, which disturbed my sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 8th floor will be a lot quieter than those lower will have more street noise.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay here. Slightly pricey?? maybe because the Melbourne cup was on?? which we went to and had a great time.

City Limits is on Little Bourke street which is in China Town, so this means heaps of Asian restaurants very close by, ie walking distance. We enjoyed eating out in the area. Room was very clean, was serviced daily, reception staff helpful (apart from one grumpy lady).
