“A break from the city.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

A short drive out of the suburbs of Melbourne and you have stunning woodland and some amazing views back towards the city. Lots of places to eat and drink. Exactly what I wanted after a few days of hustle bustle city life.

A great place to go away from the city, great views and there´s a very fun maze just besides the observatory! Great for a visit with family and friends :)

“Great for a Sunday drive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

If you just want to go for a drive, there are few places better than the Dandenong Ranges. It contains beautiful gardens, delightful places for for morning or afternoon teas and lunch. Doesn't matter what time of the year.

“Magnificent views...delightful experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

I enjoyed everything ....from the coach bus ride along the Dandenong Ranges to the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary where I had a photo with a the birds, the ride with Puffing Billy...the Oldest Steam Train, such a thrill to take photos each time it turned around one of the bends,, and the lunch at Fergusson's Winery which went well with the red wine that I sampled. I had a fabulous time and recommend it!

“Have Known It All My Life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The Dandenongs provide some of the most natural fauna and flora that anyone could imagine. Very few people live there and to spend two or three days at a B&B and take advantage of the natural tours for a minimal price is more than worth it. Do not be sucked in by souvenir sellers, they overcharge for rubbish and be guided by either the people you are staying with or a guide ( if you choose that )
