We stayed for a night and arrived at reception at about 830pm. Lady at front desk was robotic, no welcome greeting, smile, or offer of assistance. Just pay for your rooms, leave a security bond, take your keys and off you go. Asked for assistance to nearest supermarket but never got there as directions given were not clear. Could have offered us a map.
Kitchen in the room needs renovation. Cabinets were old, and dated. Coffee/tea hidden in cabinet though it was complementary. Wouldn't want to cook in the kitchen as it looked dirty.
Tap for shower hard to manouver. A slight turn on the knob causes water to be too cold or too hot. Took us a long time to get it right. When we finally got it, we dare not turn the water off, and the next person quickly got in to shower.
Clothes washer malfunction. Knob cycle does not turn, so it stays on the same cycle all the time. Had to maually turn the knob so that it can rinse, wash, spin etc. Dryer timer also not working. Cothes were drying in there the whole night, and never turn off though clothes were already dry. Very bad for the clothes.
When sleeping, could hear the traffic noise, horse galloping etc. So quite noisy. May be quieter if facing the carpark.
Beds are comfortable and bedsheets were smooth and soft. Location is very good, surrounded by eateries and shopping. 15mins walk to Queen Victoria Market.
Will probably not stay here again, as we stayed at a better apt on our return leg for almost the same price.
