The two bed ropom apartment was great for us and our friends. A fine night was had by all after attending a nearby function. All the staff were very helpful and we left a piece of clothing behind and it was returned to us

I stayed at the motel complex for 3 nights in a standard room.

It was basic, simple, and clean. I was travelling for work, and with the office being 10 minutes walk away, I have no complaints.

It's a typical motel in the "burbs".

An apartment had been booked for us for 3 days but on arrival we were told the previous guests hadn't left when they should have and we were offered a motel room because the cleaners hadn't been able to get in. The suite was roomy but noisy. The bathroom was downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. We had to lug our cases up the staircase. We shifted to an apartment across the road the next day. This was lovely. Large and quiet. The only problem was that on departure we were charged for our stay which had already been paid for by someone who had arranged the accommodation for us. Instead of charging his credit card they charged ours. There is no organisation regards administration. It was very stressful trying to work out why we had been charged. Will not stay there again.

"+" In general we liked the room size, design and facilities of the hotel. Also we've been lucky to get free upgrade for the room with jacuzzi :) And the region is some kind of asian quarter with a cheap places to eat. "-" The bathroom was very cold and there was a crack on the wall that, on my opinion, does not fit with the Best Western quality standards. The cables from a/c were placed inside the wardrobe. No elevator.

We spent a week in the BW with two waterpolo teams (27 boys) competing in the city at the National Championships.
We stayed across the road at in apartments and were really very pleased with the accommodation - the rooms are big, well appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable (some of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for a longtime).
The staff at the hotel were great and very accommodating given the amount of pent up energy running around there property. The breakfast and dinner was good and as ordered - we were not looking for fine doing and had described a menu prior to checking in - the packed lunches were very good.
Boxhill shopping and restaurants work really well and are just down the road as is the train and tram into the city. We drove in and out every day and although we had one bad traffic day we soon got used to the timings and best route so had no trouble, even popping in to the city at night for dinner/meetings.
A great stay in a good product with staff that wanted to help - well done.!!

Room Tip: The apartment block across the road from the main hotel.

We spent three nights here well visiting Melbourne. It is about a ten minute walk to both the train station and tram station. We found the room depressing. We ordered the internet package which you pay extra for. There was a cable in the room and they gave me a wireless router to plug in to provide wi-fi in the room. It did not work even after trying a different router. The manageress was very helpful letting me try a router in a different room but it would not work either. We cancelled the package and I later saw them taking a router out to try in other rooms. The system needs updating. The bedside lamp was not working and I found it unplugged. Plugging it in involved opening the bedside cabinet, unplugging something else and running the cord through the open cabinet door. The attention to the little things was lacking.

Three of us stayed here on 12 th October as we were attending a 21st in Balwyn. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, it is over the road from the Motel Complex. Cost was $230 and you get nice secure underground parking, lift to your very spacious apartment. Comfy beds, nice couches and tv with foxtel, nice kitchen, washer and dryer, roomy bathroom, a great place to stay just out of the city. It's lovely and quiet and a nice view out from the balcony. The only thing that would be nice is a tv in the bedroom and the apartment would be perfect. Would recommend as a place to stay. Also checking and out was nice and quick with pleasant staff. Ate breakfast 100 meters down the street at a cafe.
