4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Stayed here on Melbourne cup weekend after another one of our impromptu nights on the town. Given that it was Melbourne cup weekend it was good that not only did they have a room available, but the tariff wasn't overinflated.
The rooms are a little small and even though they'd been taken over by Accor they wouldn't accept my Accor Advantage card, but this wasn't a big deal.
Location wise it's pretty hard to beat being directly opposite Flinder St station and a stones throw from Elizabeth Street.

Found this hotel on Expedia & very happy with price. This hotel is located opposite Flinders St railway station. We arrived on a Friday night & the street was buzzing with people & general chaos to be expected of a central CBD precinct. The room was clean & windows sealed so the street noise not heard. Beds & pillow too soft for my liking. The reception staff were friendly & pointed us to the many quaint laneways filled with cafes & restauarants. Federation square was just up the road. A nice walk across the bridge to the Art centre & down to SouthGate & further along to the casino. Overall a great central location for a short city break.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms next to cleaners storerooms

This hotel was over priced for what it was. Room was reasonably sized and clean.

Good location. Glad for free wifi in lobby. Hated the fact they didn't have own parking however they have a deal with a car park 2 mins away for $28 a day.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

I stayed here for only one night but have stayed previously a year ago. What was a nice touch was that they remembered I had stayed previously and had a card welcoming me back. The bed was confortable and the gym well equipped and the room clean. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that my air conditioning was noisy (some sort of rattle in the vent). I managed to turn it off for most of the night but unfortunately got too hot and lost precious sleep. I arrived to late to request a room change.

Room Tip: Go for the Bed and Breakfast option if you can. It's pretty substantial and will stand you well...

We stayed here for three nights, we found the location great. The room was clean and quiet, sure the view was non existent but hey we only had three days and wanted to get out and about so not an issue for us.

I would stay here again for sure, slept well, new TV spacious. We got room for a good price too.

I stay at this Hotel regularly for work. It is very clean, rooms are a GREAT size and staff very friendly. The Brekfast is also nice. It is also very central. As this is for work, I don't get to see much else, so unfortunately I don't know what is around...
