“Gastromomic Blowout”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Usually as the quality of the food goes up so the portion size goes down. Not here. Give it a go but you might have to que. But we went at 3.00pm amd got straight in. You will enjoy this great place.

“Spicy food with flair”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

The food was fast and spicy. The service was good. The atmosphere was young and hip. Really enjoyed the jungle curry but way too hot for more than a couple of bites. The dessert we had contained some kind of honeycomb in it. It was awful! Stick with the savory dishes here and you will be pleased.

“A great place to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Noisy and busy, it is a real experience. But the food is fantastic and the service is excellent. You can't book, so get there early!

“Great food & atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013 via mobile

Chin Chins is now a must do every time I go to Melbourne. The food is delicious with a slight twist and the atmosphere is a buzz. We arrived at 6.30pm and had to wait til 8.30pm to be seated. Don't let this put you off! The bar below makes waiting go by quickly.. so we weren't too fussed. I must say it was definitely worth the wait and I would return in an instant! Yummy, amazing quality food!

“absolutely delicious - would highly recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

For a reasonable price, Chin Chin delivered probably what is the best meal i have had in Melbourne(including places like Attica). Both the atmosphere, the friendly service made for an enjoyable meal, but it was the food that really stole the show with some incredible mixes of flavours that exploded in the mouth accompanied by some very delicious cocktails and a generous wine list... The door staff lose some points though for being overly pretentious (as with most trendy, "scene" places)...

Problematically it was a birthday celebration and they refused to allow us to bring a cake. Aside from that sour point, it was a highly enjoyable evening!
