“Beautiful conservatory”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

Located right on the edge of Melbourne CBD, easy access by city circle tram, it's always wonderfully refreshing to stroll through the garden. With pond, ducks, plenty of tall shady old trees, it's tranquil and beautiful. I always love a visit to the beautiful conservatory where beautiful flowers are staged for perfect pictures all year round. Kids or visitors may also be interested in the fairy trees or Cook's Cottage.

“A Little Bit of Quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

A must when you head here is Captain Cook's Cottage. A small entry fee to walk through this quaint cottage moved from England. The Fitzroy Gardens themselves are lovely. If you go on a Saturday you are likely to see many weddings, either being held in the gardens or wedding photographs being taken there.

“Enjoy a stroll through this beautiful parkland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

Beautifully set out, great paths and huge trees to relax under. Great to see into far from the middle of the city. A visit to Captain Cook's Cottage is worth it.
