Decent sized 45m2 room with a view of the brown Yarra river which we had to pre-request.
The room had subdued modern tones in contrast to the gaudy gambling arena visible from the lobby. The noise from the corridor was evident sometimes.
Great location for the restaurants and bars along Southbank and a short walk into the more refined areas of Melbourne/Collins Street.
Service was helpful and warm.
Quite good value given the size of the room, view and location.

The crown towers is one of the 3 hotels in the casino complex, and we just loved our 2 nights n our premier twin room. We had a lovely view of the river, and the room itself was spacious and well appointed. Loved the bathroom. Housekeeping did their job well, and everything felt clean and fresh which is no mean feat in a large hotel.
The gym has great cv equipment, towels and water for a good workout, so we didn't feel sluggish between the fantastic gourmet food offered in the restaurants that face on to the promenade. Had a lovely swim in the pool as well.
What more could anyone want? Excellent service, beautiful facilities; a city in a city - we barely stepped outside except stroll down the gorgeous promenade and view Melbourne from The south bank. We had good value facials in the Metropole too. Can't wait to go back!

I recently stayed in one of Crown's Deluxe Villas for a night on a recent trip to Melbourne. All I can say is...amazing! Check in for the club rooms and villas is carried out in a private check in area in the Crystal Club on level 3 away from the hustle and bustle of the main lobby.

Our Villa on level 31 was stunning with a large pannelled entry way, lounge area with desk and plasma television, huge master bedroom with an enormous marble bathroom with jacuzzi spa bath. A personal letter from General Manager Andrew Cairns welcoming us back to the hotel and box of chocolates on the coffee table was a nice touch and made us feel completely welcome and at home.

Staff were faultless, including the butlers and turn down service attendants and always went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The Salvatore Ferragamo products in the bathroom were also fantastic as was the delicious room service, especially the warm chocolate fondant!

The Crystal Club is great for a drink and a snack and staff are always friendly and attentive. The breakfast spread in Conservatory is probably a little more extensive than in the Crystal Club, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Everything was fresh and tasty.

A credit to designer Blainey North as every piece furniture, decoration and lighting throughout the villa and the rest of the hotel is exquisite. I am in the design trade myself and I was so impressed with the level of quality that I am now sourcing lighting from Ms North's company for my own home.

I am already longing for my next stay at Crown Towers and experiencing the luxury of the Villas again. The Crystal Villas are to die for, though slightly out of my price range! One can always dream however.
