I stayed in Melbourne on Budiness for two nights and chose this hotel as it popped up on the Qantas booking website wherei had just booked my flight. I decided to book a 1 bedroom apartment and was pleased I did. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished and was very spacious. Disappointingly the bed was quite uncomfortable though. It always amazes me when hotels can't get the beds right because it is probably the most important aspect of the stay. Service was patchy too. I ordered a complimentary "cooking pack" to use in my little kitchenette and had to call 4 times before it arrived. Also the kitchenette is adequate but a little awkwardly designed as it is very difficult to wash the dishes as the sink is in a very unusual position. But overall a satisfactory experience. Over the years I have found Melbourne hotels to be generally very poor value for money. This (along with the Langham on South Bank) is probably the best I ave stayed at.
