The location of this hotel is excellent for shopping and even though it is very central, it is still a quiet hotel with no traffic or tram noise which is unusual in Melbourne. The service was excellent from the valet parking and welcome at the door to the check in/out.
We had a Queen studio room which was a very good size. The room had a couch which was really nice to be able to sit on a couch rather than a bed or a side chair. A small kitchen area which was a bonus if I was staying for a longer period, rather than overnight. Bathroom was well appointed but looked like it needed a bit of updating and I have never liked the shower over bath idea. So the bathroom was a bit disappointing.
Although the room was very nice and service was excellent I personally dont like hotel rooms that look out to the wall of the building next door. But unfortunately that is a common problem with inner city hotels and cant be changed.
