I stayed at this hotel and had a great stay , in fact I am going back. Maybe it was the fantastic view I had from my room. The sunset blew me away & the Melbourne lights at night were just beautiful . Admittally I was on the 8th floor, and I would not want to be any lower. The staff were very friendly (especially conceierge ). I asked if I could extend my check out time to midday and that was fine at no extra cost. I found the spa lovely ,once again the attrium with all the natural light and views was great, sauna was hot. Sure maybe the decor is a bit dated , by this I mean more in color schemes, my bed was comfy even though it probably could be replaced. (slight sag ). My tip for this hotel request a 8 or higher floor, & as I do before I check in go and look at the room, if you don't like it ask to change , or there are numerous other hotels in this area that are all of the same price range between 4 - 41/2 star to choose from. Brekky was great to.
