“Met my expectations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Like most of the Adina apartments I have stayed at, this had good service, rooms and was clean. Not far of a walk to the main shopping area. There were some good restaurants near the hotel, just ask the staff for recommendations. Would stay there again.

“Just excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

One of the nicest hotel experiences I have ever had. I travel round the world for work and found this to be perfect in terms of space, decoration, service and convenience for everything in the city. As soon as I arrived I felt very calm and welcomed. The staff couldn't do enough to support me during my stay. And the room was like a home away from home.

“Keep a copy of your booking!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We travelled as a family to Melbourne and chose the Adina as it had two bedroom apartments with single beds for us all (4 adults and a baby). We were checked in at 12.00 which was good, but upon dragging all the bags, pram etc to the room we had 2 queen beds.
When we contacted reception we were told they were fully booked and 'they'd see what they could do'. As we had a copy of the original booking, they were able to see that we had booked the twin beds. We were told to wait in the room until they found something.
We were then called and requested to wait in the lobby until a room became available. They had no sympathy for the fact the baby was asleep and there was only one person left in the room to manage the baby and all the bags for 5 people. Their attitude was "oh well we only guarantee check in from 2pm). We were then found a room with 2 levels which was a right pain with a baby and steep stairs. Overall, a great deal of stress was had by all, which was not what we needed with the first time travelling with an 8 week old baby.
The location was great though, close to Bourke Street Mall, food, transport etc. It was very noisy though, and even on the 21st floor we were woken by street noise/party goers etc
The room was modern and clean.

“Best Choice to adventure the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

The very helpful front office, Harry and also the location were two of advantages of this hotel. The shopping mall at bourke street just within 3 minutes and also tram to st kilda and docklands were around. For the one that have no time to cook, convinient stores just within the corner as well as coffe shop degani ( best brew coffes ) and subway sandwiches available down stairs. So for us if you travel with family , medina grand is the best place. Dont forget to buy Miky card at convinient stores 711 that grand your tour around city with buses, trams and train. Enjoy !

“Perfectly lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

We had a two bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen, and large balcony facing a massive green park. I had no idea the place had a gym so that was a pleasant surprise (but wish I had known so I could have packed my gym shoes!). This place is perfect for literally anyone-- the immediate area is very quiet with lots of stylish little cafes and restaurants, but literally a block away is the party scene of Fitzroy Street with all the alcohol-drenched fun you could wish for. The kitchen and mini-bar are all fully stocked and there are markets close enough to purchase groceries if you'd like to cook at home. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful (especially Yoo-- we fell in love with her!!) and are there 24 hours for your convenience. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be back!
