“Stunning!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

Surprisingly huge! Free entry, spent a good two hours. Great information boards, brief but informing and they don't take away from the beauty. Shop was lovely. Loads of aboriginal items and of course gardening items. May suggest more postcards please! As these are light and easy yo pack!

“Great for family picnic, pretty but expected more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

It is large with lots of walking trails but wouldn't rate it up with the top ones. Plants and trees could be better marked and all the roses are in another part of the park. Slightly disappointed after seeing the Singapore gardens.

“Heaven on Earth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

Just amazing. Nothing else to say.
Peaceful, beautiful, incredible.
Never to miss.
You can see how Melbourne cares about this gardens, and I understand why.
You don't feel in the city anymore, it's just paradise. You could fall asleep underneath a tree.

“Wonderful day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

We had a lovely sunny day for our visit. An easy walk from the train station. The map available was easy to follow and made sure we did not miss anything. Highlight for me was the arid garden with all those wonderful cacti. Loved the floating islands. So much to see and so relaxing. Well placed benches when it was time for a rest or just soak up the beauty. We had something to eat in the visitor centre, what a choice and excellent food. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

“Relaxing and beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

A great place to walk around or to sit and have a picnic. Lots of space for kids to run around and some beautiful big fig trees to explore. The children's garden is incredible (not open on Mondays in school term) although even the regular area is enough to entertain everyone
