We picnicked here with friends and the setting is perfect. the grounds are beautifully set out and there always seems to be an area of solitude. Walking here provides the perfect escape from the hustle of the City.
I found the grounds very well kept. It is a nice quiet walk with excellent views of the Exhibition building.
Beautiful landscaping, great paths, lovely lake, beautiful trees and plants, great cafes, great location.
My husband & I had our wedding photos done here. So many beautiful plants & wildlife. Its like stepping into another time. you would never know you were in the city. Great to go for just a picnic or a romantic walk.
These gardens have a bounty of secluded areas that can only be found by exploration, and those that are not secluded are breathtakingly beautiful.
A great place to picnic with friends, wedding ceremony, celebrate birthdays, or simply to lay on the grass and watch the puffs of clouds roll by.
Whether you walk around the 'tan' or through it - it's glorious any time of the day.
