“The Afghanistan exhibition is an absolute must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Brilliantly curated, superbly lit and beautifully laid out, this exhibition was a delight. Make sure you don't miss this one as it is a real gem!! If you can go during the week to avoid the crowds it would be even better

“Historical and Scientific Masterpiece”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

So much to do and see. Loved all the Aussie cultural references, especially the real life Aussie settings created around the insect/arachnid displays ie Spiders making webs around outside taps. Loads of interactives for kids.......and adults!

“Must go see, but DON'T eat there!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Went to the Afganistan exhibition and then checked out the rest of the Museum. First Class and well worth the visit. However don't eat the food at the Cafe. Four of us and everyone had a disappointing meal. Pies & party pies and sausage rolls especially were disgusting. Very dry - looked as tough they had been in the warmer for a week!!!

“Brilliant museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

This museum is just as good as I remember. There are great interactive displays and heaps of animals. It is pretty big and there is even an indoor rainforest! Well worth a trip out.

“Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

I have not been there for years. It has gone from sterile to vibrant and engrossing. Great interpretation, the place was pulsating. It's setting is worth the visit alone - a World Heritage Building in the forecourt!
