“Impressive Building, Phar Lap!”

We went to the Melbourne Museum to see Phar Lap. I was a bit torn, wondering if it would be creepy, but the preserved body of Phar Lap was beautiful. It looked like the horse could step down and race. The film archives were wonderful as well.

The building is beautiful. Many of the other exhibits were also impressive, without the editorializing/ moralizing that so many museums engage in these days.

“Loads of fun”

A few of the galleries were closed on our visit, as was the IMAX, which was disappointing. However, there is still loads to see, including dinosaurs and a huge collection of gems and rocks, including bits of Mars and a rock with crystals over 4 billion years old. Use your student ID if you have one to get free admission!

Excellent museum.
Dinosaurs, animals, plants, culture and history of Australia.
Great attraction for both local and foreign tourists.
Appreciate the big area and cafe as well.
You can visit it as many times as you can,

“Landmark Cathedral”

Situated opposite Federation Square and opposing corner to Flinders Street Station this cathedral is worth a visit. You alo pick up the free city tour bus outside which is a bonus
