this hotel is great value for money. more modern than its little bourke counterpart (10 mins walk). the location is not near a major train station but well serviced by trams. it has a fantastic market on the doorstep. the beds were ultra comfy. one of pillows was so so so so terrible, but there was a spare so not a problem. my only issue was the shower cubicle. weak water pressure, luke warm water and the shower head was about 5ft tall meaning i had to crouch underneath to wash my hair #badback. all in all gret. would have been fantastic if they had put in a decent shower!

Great location and quite happy with the hotel . The room used was adequate but not overly comfortable . The chairs could have been better as sitting in them for 2 days the back did ache a bit. Food adequate.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ibis. Nothing like what we anticipated. Compared to the Hotel Ibis in Townsville. Way better beds..(comfy) love how spacious the room was. Made great memories staying there. Location is excellent I say! Only few minutes walk to main CBD....accompanied by great shopping, couldn't have asked for a more convenient yet up class hotel to live and experience the wonders of Melbourne city. It was amazing! I always say its where you stay that determines whether or not you fully experience one city especially if you're one that travels alot. And Hotel Ibis gave us that experience we anticipated on. I loved everything about our stay from the buffet breakfast to just being greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Great service at Ibis. Only thing that bugged me when we first got into our room was that we noticed how small the bar fridge was. You've got a nice room, spacious, clean, has got everything and than you turn and see this tiny bar fridge. I dont know, but maybe try considering something slightly bigger....enough to fit fruits and a couple of bottles of water maybe. Apart from that, WE LOVED IT!!!!!! Once again, you've done well Ibis! I'd definitely recommend Hotel Ibis to my group of friends if ever they travel to Melbourne. Keep up the good work people!

This is a lovely place to stay on the edge of the CBD near the Victoria Market. Close to tram lines and couple of minutes walk to Melbourne Central train station. Staff are friendly, rooms clean and tidy. Only problem is the lack of parking available. Self parking means parking around other side of block and carting luggage around to hotel.
