“Not Asia”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

It may be a great place to by fruit and meat but as a tourist attraction it does not compare to the great markets of Asia and Europe. It is full of stands set up to sell tourist junk. The clothing prices are not as good as the outlets on Bridge rd.
Even the markets in Lyon put it to shame. I find PettiCoat lane in London far more interesting.

“Coolest of my Melbourne Experiences!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Food! Drinks! People Watching! The Wednesday night market is where to go to see people hanging out and enjoying Melbourne at night! Cheap, easy street food and a great atmosphere with music and performers (nothing too touristy!)

Highly recommended for any visitor to Melbourne!

“Great night market for food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

We caught the tram to the market and it was buzzing when we arrived. All the cooking smells and barbecue smoke and all the people made for a great atmosphere. There is a huge range of food on offer and whilst most of the stalls had queues, it didn't take too long 15/20 minutes. We tried Moo Baa Cluck which offered burgers and fries in those three meats. They were excellent and once we reached the stall the food was served quickly.

They had live music and a fair number of stalls selling all sorts of things but nothing we wanted!

A great place to try 'street' food in Melbourne, close to the CBD and tram stops, easy to get to.

“Souvenirs and Fresh Fruit market Destination in Melbourne”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Queen Victoria Market, must be visited market for tourist in Melbourne, you will find lowest price of Australian souvenirs in there compare than other place, they also sell in package such like 6 for 10AUD for kangaroo key holders, T-shirt around 6 AUD, I was suprised that met many Indonesian souvenirs seller in the market. Explore the market then you will find fresh fruits in cheap value. Interesting. I recommended to visit this market.
