A friend took me to this restaurant for dinner during a trip to Melbourne in March having been there previously. I quickly noticed that there were many customers in surrounding restaurants and not in this one. I also noticed that the waitress was more intent on writing up the blackboard, with a drink in hand, than serving us. I therefore asked, when we were finally able to get service, whether there had been a change in management as was advised yes. That explained the situation. However our dinner was on business and I like to look at the good side so we decided to stay thinking at least it is quiet so we can talk about our business. The rest was a comedy- dishes ordered not received, difficultly in getting service and the coup de gras- a significantly overcharged bill. What more can I say......Melbourne is known for its wonderful restaurants and we should have gone somewhere else.
