My husband and I stayed at the Hilton on the night of our wedding as the flight for our honeymoon was early the next morning.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was clean and a good size for us. The late night snack we ordered was very filling and delivered with a smile.

The view of the aeroplanes in the morning was an awesome view to wake up to. The breakfast was good too. All in all, we had an excellent and smooth experience with the Hilton - it really was a great start to our honeymoon.

I stay at this hotel about once a year, stayed again July 2009 before an early morning overseas flight. I have stayed at this hotel since it opened, so it was sad to see it a bit ragged around the edges, especially for a Hilton. The block out blind in the room was frayed and the hallway carpet looked like it needed a good steam clean. I would never have seen this in earlier years. I put it down to the economy, I suppose there are less people staying overnight now before a flight. I was also disappointed that there was basically no cable tv channels, I am sure there used to be. Wouldn't want to be stuck here for hours watching free to air TV. The room service menu has shrunk from first class to cafe style. I ordered chicken and it was like rubber. Front desk staff were great, very professional. I have never had a problem with the staff at this hotel. The only major thing is I ordered a wake up call - it didnt come. I had to be up at 6am, so luckily my mobile phone alarm worked. Quite disappointed, that they couldn't manage this simple service. Overall though, I do enjoy the Airport Hilton, it is connected to the terminal by a walkway and I would much rather stay here than anywhere else at this airport. I just hope the chain invests some cash in the next few years and keep it at a high standard.

This was our second visit to the Hilton. It is very convenient for the airport and is a great way to catch up after flying for so long. Well equiped rooms, good restaurant - breakfast was excellent. I would recommend a night here to anyone who has flown in from UK to combat jetlag.

Had to overnight due to flight arrangements. Very comfortable and clean room. King size bed, tea/coffee, ironing board/iron, robe and toiletries supplied. TV was old and not easy to work for free-to-air channels but I was there to sleep so not a major problem. Hairdryer did not work which was annoying as I had packed my requirements in my back pack so as not to have to open my suitcase. Ate breakfast at the Terminal as hotel's food pricey IMO. Would stay again if circumstances dictated.
