“Cute with atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Love this little cafe on the corner of one of the arcades - it's just like being in Italy! Service is always friendly and the food also very fresh and enjoyable. Great coffee and it's also licensed!

“Sweet delights & great coffee in the heart of Melbourne's shopping centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012 via mobile

This venue is always busy, but can be worth the wait if you need a quick pit-stop during your shopping spree. Chocolate waffles are fantastic matched with good coffee.  The staff are young & vibrant who are happy to serve.

Price might be a bit high compared to another patisserie next door, but they make up for it with better tasting delights.

“Don't stand by the cake display!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2012

We were first drawn to the cakes, which are in a very narrow and very busy passageway, next to the registers and a storage of stacked chairs. They looked great but we were barely there for a minute before a waitress asked us to take a table and was so pushy to get us to a table! We told her we were just looking at the cakes first and she picked up menus and repeated that we should take a seat. Very pushy! So we sat and one went up at a time to look at those cakes. Well, after all that, I wanted to get out of there but hubby convinved me to stick around and the coffee and brownie was actually really good. Too bad about the service and the lack of space in the place, it really makes a difference.

“Worlds best iced coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012 via mobile

Great staff and good food. Can be a bit squishy seating wise but worth it cause the food is great. Iced coffee is a must.

“Charm , Atmosphere & History”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

Worth going just to explore the history inside this quirky tiny cafe. An old location with variety of small seating areas up small flights of stairs add to the charm.
Breakfast menu is basic & food is good , servings could be larger.
Good service.
Convenient location.
