“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

This place is billiant. The history and items they have on show here is simply amazing. You need a couple of hours here to read everything properly. They have background narration in some areas that just adds to the experience and they also have small rooms where you can go and sit and listen to Warnie and James Hird talk and give tips on their respective sports. This is so lifelike it feels like they are actually in the room with you. There are interactive sports things downstairs that will entertain children and adults for hours and make sure you go on a day when there is no events on at the MCG and you can do a tour of the ground and dressing rooms and the MCC which would be really interesting. I would definately recommend this place to people of all ages well worth the admission price.

“I Can't Believe I've Never Been Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

What can I say, this place is a national treasure. The amount of times I have been to the MCG to see footy and I've never come through this place... I could have spent hours in here but we were being pleasured with a private tour and dining experience at the G so time was short. I will definitely go back !!

“An amazing snapshot of our sporting history!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

I am not a sporty type, but my partner is a mad nut, so this was always going to be a "must do" on our break. It didn't disappoint, it is packed full of amazing facts, history, priceless memorabilia & a fun interactive section that was there just when our 5 yr old daughter started to get bored. I learnt so many things I didn't know about the history of this country & marvelled at the massive collection of items that people have generously donated. Highly recommended on a trip to Melbourne.

“Awesome place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Loved the Game On section of the museum. get to play hands on a lot of things. The museum itself is home to so much sports history that you'd probably wont get to see anywhere else in the world. Would definitely recommend to add to the list of must-do's in Melbourne

A fantastic museum, absolutely bursting at the seams with a fascinating collection of sporting history.
We spent an hour or more here and would not hesitate to recommend a visit.
