“Terrible!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Allow me to list my issues with this establishment:
- Rude & arrogant staff.
- Given dirty plate.
- Waited 15 minutes for a drink, which was then served to the table next to me.
- Oysters not fresh.
- Rock hard bread.
- Exorbitant prices for tiny meal.

“Food cooked with passion.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

We chose the tasting menu. The scallops with orange confit and fennel was to die for! Then the Pork Belly, food is love ! Salmon confit texture zi was aware off, but hubby did not like. Hapoka , just have to fall in happy land with this dish. Et Viola the Beef Cheeks , chestnuts, mushrooms ,yummmm. Food cooked as an experience with love and care is what eating out is for me about. Only one fault we got the paired wine with Tasting a Menu, he was awful, could tell he did not have a clue . Not a Sommerlier! In fact he let all the others whom served us down.

“Very nice surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We were at Crown looking for a place for dinner and came across Atlantic. We were pleasantly surprised by the modern and stylish decor of the restaurant and bar.

The service was amazing - being from Perth this was greatly appreciated. The food was high quality and we had a great night.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality seafood restaurant at Crown.

“Could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

Lovely spot on the Yarra, half glass shield you from the passer bys. They have an excellent value 2 course lunch menu but they don't provide it and was told it was just a 'dumbed down version of the main menu'???then reluctantly went and got one. It was superb, lots of choices with selections taken from the main menu, but you have 2 courses plus a glass of wine for the price of one main dish of the menu.
The somelia was rather pushy on his most expensive bottles.
We started with a doz oysters ( from the main menu which had grit, disappointing.

“Overpriced seafood”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

After wanting a midnight snack we chose the Atlantic. Well we ordered 2 dozen coffin bay oysters and a kilo of prawns. Total price $230. U have got to be kidding when i can pay $12/dzn for the same oysters that haven't been frozen mind you. They must also weigh the ice when scooping the prawns. Good luck in keeping your doors open Atlantic
