I am a seafood lover which is why I wanted to come to the Atlantic. I was a bit disappointed with the seafood on the menu which is very simple and the lobster is way overpriced at $380 on its own either hot or cold, but when we decided to go for the seafood platter - $105pp, I was extremely happy as when it came out it was a wonderful mix of oysters, prawns, scallops, mussels, spanner crab, Morton bay bugs and my absolute favourite seafood a big mud crab! This to me was excellent value as mud crab alone is quite expensive and all of the seafood on this platter was delicious and so flavoursome. Every item was yummy and compared to the seafood in the crown buffet (conservatory) this was awesome. I will defineately be back for this platter alone. And yes the wine is expensive but which top restaurant doesn't have expensive wine? Simon the waiter was very knowledgable and attentive hats off to him.
