A wonderful meal last night. Started with pork rillettes and salmon rillettes shared by the table - beautifully presented in quirky containers. Our entrees were well received by all.
The chicken - house speciality - was very moist and full of flavour. The petite pois as a garniture were perfect. And the servings are generous.
Others tried the lamb and specialty of the day a dish of kidneys. It was disappointing that the kidneys could not be served with the pilaf as suggested. This was pointed out after it was mentioned by one of our table that the pilaf hadn't been received. To this point the service could not be faulted.
Wine list is extensive, although on the expensive side.
Would recommend the creme brûlée which is flamed at the table (and reflamed so that we could get a photo for children to see).
A busy restaurant, however our table tucked around the corner had us a little away from that and we certainly were not aware of noise or bustle if there was any.
