Went on the 2 day great ocean road tour to the grampian mountains. We left melbourne at 7.30am and our excellent guide Henning having introduced himself asked us to introduce ourselves.
The group was made up of different nationalities austrailian, vietnam, japan, germany austria and myself from ireland.
We stopped at various locations to see koalas scenic spots both coastal and forest trails. Henning was an expert on the flora and fauna.
We had stops for elevens and lunch included in cost of trip however dinner was your own expense. A great trip for photo opportunities and hearing the history of the area.
At the 12 apostles stop I did the short optional extra helicopter trip that I enjoyed
We arrived at halls gap at about 10pm and had an early breakfast for our next days touring to see a aboriginal centre,.a waterfall worth taking the trip to the bottom to get the full effect there is a lot of steps not bad on the descent a bit harder on ascent.
The cost of lunch is not included on day but we stopped in a town which had plenty of cafes
Our last stop was at a winery before returning to melbourne.
Fantanstic tour with a terrific guide who interacted with his passengers imparted great information and enjoyed his taste in music.
