“Ned Kelly's armour is here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This is a beautiful building with lots of great exhibit. I didn't plan a visit specifically, but was very delighted to find the exhibit of Ned Kelly's armour here. It is a great piece of Australian history; it gave me a glimpse into the Australian psyche and the Bush Rangers folklore.

“Great architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

The building is absolutely magnificent, especially the Dome. It offers free WIFI like any of its other libraries. Additionally, it also has a gallery area for you to enjoy the view of the Dome to your hearts' delight.

“Facinating State Library of Victoria!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

This library is fabulous, not only for its great historical outside appearance, but for its past significance that it carries within the structure. Many old scripts, paintings and books are in the library, and what makes it interesting is how large it is inside. Must see this library. !
