“Worthwhile stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Conveniently located in Docklands area. It is near tram stop where you can get free tram number 35 to bring you to town. If you want to take cab to Swanston street, it cost around Aud $10.00. You can also walk to Harbour town. Near to Ethihad Stadium too.

We bought a Webjet package for a footy game at Etiad Stadium, initially I was apprehensive with its location and external appearance as I arrived. But the King room was great, in retrospect location was excellent once we became more familiar with the surrounds, generally staff were friendly and very helpful. It is the only one of the six motels and apartments in which I have stayed during this year that did not offer free wireless internet. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: I think southern rooms would be preferable

Close to all amenities. Breakfast buffet was average but plenty. Great location to Southern Cross station..after we found the walkway... and all trains and trams, and skybus to airport. Easy walk to anywhere, Wld stay again!

Found this hotel on Jetstar's sale page one evening, decided to bite the bullet and go for it. Ended up being a great hotel.

Advantages:
Great service
Value for money
Clean
$20/day parking - unlimited entry/exits

Disadvantages
Average shower pressure
Quite a bit of a walk to CBD - 15-20mins from Docklands
Football night at Eitihad Stadium? Goodluck moving around in a car.

I got an excellent rate for a king room.
Really clean with a modern decore. Everything in your room you will need included cutlery/plates/microwave.
The location was great easy access to transport, cbd location, stadium & more.
If you are not relying on a car you'll be happy with this hotels location.

This Hotel was very helpful I am a Traveler from brisbane and was traveling alone. I called to find the best way there they were very helpful and informed me since I was flying in early I was able to check in my bag early at the hotel so I didn't have to cary it around with me so i could shop while they are making the room ready.
The room was clean and neat and well presented the bed is comfy and its a proper bed size and better then the one I have at home, as you would expect it has the usual extras they give you like shampoo and soap.
The only issues i had with the room where, there is not many items on the room service menu and there was no little booklet thing with details on the hotel there was a little sheet but it was not very helpful e,g there is note saying come join us for breakfast at the restaurant but there is no prices there and the internet section should also have the prices also from someone that has a little bit of OCD with things there was some things not even (But that is me being picky)

So overall I recommend This as a hotel for basic traveler who needs a place to stay for under a week the fact it does not have a kitchen and a short room service menu(which is well priced though) you have to go out for meals every time, but Its comfy and clean and all you need for a week holiday but It is also next to the Train station so Keep this in mind I am on the 10th floor so i cant really hear it but its there and lower flors might have a problem with this.

Room Tip: rooms on the oposite side to the station is better and on a high floor as the station can be loud...

We stayed for 3 nights. Overall the stay was good and comfortable. Location of the hotel is very good if you are using Public transport. Southern Cross station and Stops of free city circle tram and free tourist bus are about 5-7 minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel is located on a quiet street so may not be comfortable walking to hotel late in night for some. Only issue we had was with the housekeeping, it is not bad but could improve. The bins were left on the work desk by housekeeping staff, toilet bins were not emptied at all, tissue box in the toilet was finished and not replaced. We had to ask for bath towel everyday. Overall not a bad stay and on top of that reception staff was very pleasing and helpful and happy to give directions and maps for the city.
