My sister and I stayed at The Olsen the night before her wedding. From the moment we checked in everything was fabulous! We even borrowed a table for the wedding ceremony from the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, we had many guests coming and going for hair, make up etc and this was so well handled by the lovely reception staff. We have told all our friends about The Olsen and look forward to staying again.staff were so kind. I can not thank the staff enough, they made everything fabulous!

Excellent hotel and the Day Spa (Norbu) was very good, even though the massage table was a bit squeky.
Location is great and staff very friendly.
We had dinner at STEER (located in Hotel) which was expensive, but really tasty
Would go back again

The greeting from the the extremely helpful Jacqueline when I checked in was simply the beginning of the high level of service I experienced whilst staying at The Olsen. Check in was seamless and so easy (especially since I had arrived early), the room was great, if a teeny bit cramped and may I gently suggest that some coat hangers are provided in the wardrobe?

The in room facilities hit the mark beautifully and having a room where I could step out onto the impressive sun deck was a bonus.

Should you stay there whilst in Melbourne I hear you ask?? Hell yes say I.

Upon arrival we were met with a warm smile by the valet staff and shown to reception. The staff at the desk although busy acknowledged our arrival with a nod and motioned that they'd be a moment. Once checked in we made our way to the room which looked toward Richmond with the city skyline- beautiful. The room was comfortable with a cosy bed and pillows like clouds- my husband and I never sleep in but we did that morning! Evo bath products smelt Devine and the artwork was stunning- the giraffe in level 14 my favourite. 9/10
Furthermore- try the duck main at the Spoonbill restaurant -delicious
