This Hotel is impressive. The foyer, alone, when you walk in is complete luxury. I especially was looking forward to seeing the gigantic artwork behind the check-in counter and wasn't disappointed. There are lovely bits of art dotted around also, as well as a gallery on the fourth floor.
The room was total luxury, if smaller than I expected for a two bedroom suite. My main gripe is the windows. I paid for the luxurious city view and the windows were absolutely filthy - to the extent where it marred the city view. Please, Hilton, clean your windows!!
At night-time you can't notice the dirt, but day-time it is awful.
The beds are the comfiest i've ever slept in, although my friend, staying in the other room mentioned that her pillow was way too soft for her liking (although I loved mine). Only the next day did she discover the 'pillow menu'.
Complimentary champagne to offset the room not being made up to our request was a lovely surprise.
All in all a wonderful, luxurious night.
