“Nothing too bad, but was hoping for a little better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Ate here and whilst it wasn't bad, we were not blown away. Disappointing entree was just like a bought sausage wrapped in bread and fried?? My friend's entree of rice paper rolls were nice and fresh, and our mains were not bad but as said above, room for improvement.

“Great service and sensational food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We dine here each time we make it into Melbourne. Easy to park in the outdoor parking out the front or you can tram it there if you do not have a car. The cuisine is perfect and the lovely atmosphere creates a great dinner spot.

“A True Melbourne Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Recently we have had dinner twice at Bopha Devi in the Docklands. We walked to the restaurant from Southern Cross Station, a very nice leisurely walk along the harbour at sunset. I took several friends to dinner, none of them had tried Cambodian cuisine previously.

We were welcomed by Chan, a lovely Australian man, with roots in Cambodia. We sat at a bench style table, which was very nice with a group of friends. The menu is just incredible, nothing like this anywhere else in Melbourne.... Everything we tried was superb, a little spicy, but nicely spicey. And unusual spices to the Australian palette.

The wine list has a host of wines chosen by Chan, from some of the best wine growing areas in Australia. Many labels are not found elsewhere, so they are sort of quite special.

The ambience is just wonderful, low lighting, low music, and one is able to hold a conversation over dinner without have to shout. Very pleasant.

Such a wonderful place. We'll be back!

“Great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Stumbled across this place one weekday lunchtime (we are from out of town and didn't realise so many places around here had closed down) Despite being toward the end of lunch service and only one other couple dining we were warmly welcomed by the waitress who was an absolute gem. Best thing for me is this restaurant is totally across the whole gluten free thing. The waitress even advised whether or not I could taste the dishes my husband had ordered - not that he wanted to share! Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices - we went back a few weeks later for dinner and this place is now a firm favorite.

“Lovely but lacked ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

We ate here for lunch and it really was lovely. I've had a craving for amok fish for a while now and it did not disappoint. The waitress was lovely as was the manager/owner. The only thing I will say is it needed music and lacked ambience due to being so quiet. Docklands today was deserted due to moola and it felt weird. I feel sorry for the wonderful restaurants in this area who are suffering due to poor marketing of the Docklands in general. This is true authentic Cambodian cuisine at its finest.
