This hotel is in a great spot. It is only a few blocks to the water front, it's across the road from Woolworths supermarket, two great coffee places and it has a chinese dumpling place and Sakura Japanese restaurant just out the door. (The Japanese place does great noodle soups!). It is just a block from the main mall which runs on to Elizabeth street. Elizabeth street runs up to North Hobart which is full of shops and cafes and pubs (about a 20 min walk from the hotel). We stayed for 5 nights in room 8. This room is a double with an en-suite. It has been freshly renovated. It has a TV and a small fridge and a little shower, toilet and sink in the bathroom. It has two large sash windows that open out on to a courtyard. There is a large open communal area which has comfy seats and a big kitchen that you can use. The bar down stairs is pretty good too. I would stay here again if i came back to Hobart.
