“lunch time service very slow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

you could not get a better situation for a restaurant- the out look is amazing. The food was very tasty, but the service was way to slow for a business lunch-

“Small but worth a look.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Only small for a Royal Garden but has been set out well. Some very old young trees & a large fern house. Really enjoyed having coffee at cafe while looking out over the Derwent. Ample parking and easy walking paths.

“Worth a Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

The Botanical Gardens are a charming spot close to the Hobart CBD. They have some great areas like the Japanese Gardens and beautiful displays of camellias and rhododendrons. It's great to sit out on the deck of the Coffee shop and take in the vista across the gardens. A nice little gift shop too.

“Great to see Pete's Patch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We walked to the gardens from town which was a bit of a hike for our youngster, but well worth it. Great gardens, obviously well tended. We loved finally being able to see Pete's patch for real, although Tino wasn't anywhere to be seen.
