“Wow. A little bit of Europe in Hobart .....at last.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Wow. WOW! What a step up for Hobart and not before time. Great mix of atmosphere, service and beautifully presented and delicious food. The only comment my son had was that the tables could be a little bigger. My opinion is that it wouldn't matter as you'd only fill a bigger table with more food. GO THERE!!!

“Awesome bakery, out of this world meringues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Spotted this bakery from across the street, said to my friend "just want to look in the window - won't go inside". Crossed the road but just HAD to go inside it was the best bakery I have ever seen. Then I spotted these huge meringues and, of course, just had to buy one. Flavoured with rose water and sprinkled with pistachio nuts it was the most heavenly thing I have ever tasted. Since I got back to the mainland I have been boring everyone stupid with my descriptions of this bakery and those meringues :) I even took photos of the display cases here !

“Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

Have been here a few times now, with the family & with friends during the week and at weekends. It is always busy because the food is great! The service is friendly but be patient & enjoy the surrounds while waiting for your food to arrive - it's worth it. Just looking at all of the pastries, breads & cakes all lined up is a treat. If you are in a screaming hurry, take something away. The coffee is good too.

“Divine Bakery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

I discovered this gem whilst on a short vacation to beautiful Hobart. I am from Melbourne where we are spoiled for choice with great cafes & bakeries. Daci & Daci is divine, sensational arrangement of beautiful pastries and tarts, cafe has a fabulous atmosphere, wait staff with long white aprons. it is hard to know what to begin with. I tried savoury and sweet. Brought some goodies home to Melbourne. Daci & Daci, how European! i loved it.

“Amazing desserts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This bakery has great pastries and beautiful desserts with the most amazing meringues! However, the service was a bit slow - but still friendly. Worth a visit just to see the meringues!
