“Brilliant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

We had tremendous fun with Mary and the other group members. The food was, of course, to die for. The history of Hobart and its food culture, through Mary's eyes, was the icing in the cake. There were vegetarian and child group members. All were catered for and I now wish I had claimed to be a teetotaler as the fresh juice tasting alternative to the wine tasting sounded equally enjoyable. If you take this tour have either no breakfast, or a minuscule one. Highly recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to review us! We do pride ourselves in catering for special dietary requirements and we are very fortunate to have such co-operative venues on tour which not only serve a great product, but really go the extra mile & give special attention to the group. Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

What a delightful morning we had. New to Hobart so what a great way to learn your way around plus gather many ideas for the rest of the time in Hobart. Super historian and lovely to see Mary sharing stories of her ancestors. Top notch eateries and info on foodie and wine scene in Hobart.
Have already revisited some of the places highlighted on the tour.
Have booked in to do a second tour next week

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

I did the morning walking tour. This is a great way to see Hobart and also to find out what food is available. I only wish I had stayed at a serviced apartment so I could buy more food and cook and eat it immediately.

“Do this tour at the beginning of your time in Hobart”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

Mary shows the visitor a selection of first rate suppliers and establishments, but also has a vast knowledge of the Hobart food scene generally. We regretted that we did not have the benefit of this at the start of our brief visit. This tour is thoroughly recommended by someone who has never previously felt strongly enough about an experience to bother to write a review anywhere!

Thanks for your review Nick - we are honored to be your first! Hobart is so lucky to have such a fine array of outstanding food & wine readily accessible to a walking tour - and if it can be worked in early to an itinerary, so much the better to take advantage of during your stay. Cheers.
