“A good history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

The Maritime Museum is not as extensive as its counterpart in Sydney, but nevertheless covers all the ground you'd expect, from the original inhabitants' use of the water to the present day. Displays are good.

“Excellent Display of Early History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2011

This is one of the smaller maritime museums run by proud volunteers depicting early migration to our country. It has everything from actual replicas to smaller models of pioneering ships and plenty of information through the generations. Well worth the visit.
