We have had coffee here a number of times (we think one of the best in Hobart), and finally had a chance to stop for breakfast this morning.
We really liked how we could come in, sit down, order and get coffee all in about 10 min. No long Q's here!! The menu was standard (eggs/bacon/benny/french toast etc), but the food is not! We had the most beautiful breakfast. The eggs were actually individually poached (not microwaved like some other places - ewww!!) and deep orange in colour (free-range), the bacon is also free-range, and the baked beans my Dad had were home-made. Little touches like chives and some sauteed vegetables on the side gave it a 'we care' type of feel.
The atmosphere was good - probably not the best in Hobart, but relaxed and friendly. Three breakfasts and coffee (in mugs/soy) were less than $60, which I think is good value for free-range produce.
We will go here again, better than a lot of the more well-known places in Hobart.
