It is all there: beautiful furniture, yummi food, superb teas etc, but when it comes to humanity and kindness this place has a long way to go ... When during recent Australian Wooden Boat Festival I approached Dome Manager and asked if it could be possible to obtain some support for the Russian crew of 'Rusich' (a replica of viking boat which arrived from .... Russia !!! to Hobart for the festival). The formality and bureaucracy of her reply simply shocked me. It was something like 'I am not a senior staff member to make a decision. I cannot help you'. It was said in the middle of a room full of food, tasty snacks, delicious condiments, prepacked butter, jams, honey etc etc... Well, one thing I know for sure this young girl does not belong to Hobart as it was proofed again and again by many other Hobartians and small Hobart businesses
