We booked two nights through WOTIF and also had correspondance with the manager of the property through email. The emails with Chris were prompt and very helpful.
Getting off the plane at 10am, I recieved a text from Chris to say the apartment was ready and the code to access it. I was very surprised (and greatful) to be able to access the apartment early (most hotels etc check in isn't til 2pm)
We found the place no problems, what a surprise the attention to detail in this cute cozy little apartment.
This is the first time I have booked/stayed in an apartment as we wanted to cook our own meals after a week visiting (and eating out) in Sydney.
The little kitchen is welll equiped (two burner stove, pots/pans, microwave/convection oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine)
To my surprise (and greatful once again) there was coffee for the nespresso, cereral in the cupboard, cold milk and tea and sugar...(YEAY breakfast!!!)
The washing machine was also a greatful find (much needed washing to be done). No dryer but there is a laudromat near by (walking distance)
The furniture and finishings in the apartment are great. Good quality sheets and towels. There is also a fantastic selection of brochures, magazines and even a couple of dvd's for the tv/dvd.
This place is easy walking distance to Salamanca markets (only 1 big-ish hill) 15-20mins max.
This is a wonderful and affordable home base for all our day trips in and around hobart.
I think it is value for money. We were surprised how close it is to coles (walking distance) a doctor and several resturants/take aways if you didn't want to eat in. We did all our own cooking
It is in the "suburb" so if you are after views of the water etc then choose closer to the city, we wanted a great home base, home comforts (after living out of suitcases) and a place to chill out.
We enjoyed our stay in our first little apartment
