“"Brilliant in every way!!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

From start to end, this was the best tasmanian experience!! The staff were so great at their jobs, extremely professional, entertaining and just great fun!! The cruise around tasman island was just brilliant, the landscape was amazing, the sea life awesome, and you get above and beyond value for money. And .... the fact that a percentage of that money goes back to conservation of the area is a good enough reason everyone should take this trip. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience, absolutely brilliant!!!!

“Awesome - a must do in Tasmania”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

The scenery is spectacular, the crew are fantastic, you feel totally comfortable in the boats regardless of swell, a brilliant day out and excellent value. Could not experience this anywhere else in Australia. Simply amazing.

“COOOOL”

I've read that some people complain about being cold, I guess that's a bit their own fault? You are going out on very rough sea with a piercing wind, so don't put on summer clothes... Be smart! We put on all our jumpers (2 each) and got the jacket from the company and still weren't warm, but ok! Great to see the seals, awesome to see the whale on the way back! And what an amazing boat, really a lot of fun, we took the first seats that no one wanted and LOVED IT! Just take a seasickness pill to be sure!

“Worth every cent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Brilliant informative & fun; this tour really does deliver.
Having already taken the cliff top walks, this was the perfect way to experience what is otherwise inaccessible in an "up close and personal" way. We joined the tour at Port Arthur where the reception was very welcoming and inclusive then traveled in a mini bus the short trip to the neck. Our fearless leaders Ange and Damien were brilliant, making sure that everyone had a great experience and communicating well with all passengers. We didn't just 'see sights' but got a great and passionate education on the ecology of this region, laughs, thrills and close encounters with truly wild wildlife, white water, sheer cliffs, extreme climbers and caverns.
There were enough thrills for the adrenalin junkies in our party and, while not so adventurous myself, I still felt quite safe, enjoying the experience from the rear of the boat which is a little more sedate, and a great chat with our generous host! Finished the tour with a Tim-Tam (or two) and a huge smile.
Have a new appreciation for phytoplankton ;-) and wouldn't hesitate to do this again.

“Decent but not mind blowing, not sure what the hype is about?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Rocks, seals and some albatross. Add A LOT of wind and water which is a normal part of probably any Tasmanian cruise and you have this tour summed up pretty well. The guides and their efforts, especially the boat drivers deserve full credit for their efforts and interaction with the passengers. I found the meal scheduling (no breakfast save a muffin at 9am and no lunch til 2pm) a bit "optimistic", as well as the very squeezed mini van that transported us away for most of the day, very uncomfortable overall. Venue for lunch was however excellent.

In sum, good but nothing "wow" in my view unless you really get a kick out of viewing imposing rocky cliffs and seals, once or twice its great but for three hours it just dims after a while and I feel Tasmania has other more interesting ways relating to nature to spend your time (interior parks etc).
