“Authentic and unique food if that's possible. Everything made from scratch. Amazing flavor, decor, atmosphere and staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

this is an amazing restaurant owned and started by Matt and Pichai, two guys with a passion for both food and service. It started as a small cafe but quickly grew into a large restaurant that seats over 100 now. Small but amazingly efficient kitchen turns out the most amazing dishes with every ingredient fresh and every paste and sauce made from scratch. Recipes are both Authentic and Unique, with a great atmosphere, comfortable decor and very attentive and helpful staff. The menu changes slowly but that's due to the popularity of the dishes. The price is in the medium range with the average dish around $18, so for two mains, on-trays and a bottle of nice wine, it will set you back around $80. Not bad for a really good meal. Only down side... polished wood floors and hard walls make it a bit noisy when full, but if you can cope with the noise of 100 happy other people, your just fine.
It is my all time favorite restaurant in Adelaide, perhaps of all time, and certainly the best Thai restaurant ever.
Situated on Henley beach road, its on the city side of the south road intersection just past the lights on the left. Usually plenty of parking in the area. Remember to make a booking if it's a weekend or public holiday. They are closed on Mondays.

“Decent Thai”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

This restaurant is very popular so you will need to book. Nice traditional thai food but quite expensive. Be prepared to spend $30 each.

“"soft shelled crab....and Ambience, worth the visit just for this.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Have eaten here many times over the years, although ther last time was 3 years ago. Really enjoy the ambience of this restaurant with its collection of south east asian artifacts and its very effective lighting. Food is really great..try the soft shelled crab for a textural experience.
The service is very attentive...to much so..with an obvious desire to move you on far to quickly for my liking. One of my pet hates.
Otherwise a really great restaurant.
