Hey Indian cuisine lovers, both my husband and I are chilli and Indian/hot Asian food lovers. WE have been to the BBC before (recent renovations) and have had pretty ok meals despite the cheesiness of the decor. Anyway, one this occasion, they had advertised on the specials board a five chilli rating tindaloo which we got excited about. A hot chilli rush etc etc on a cold winter's day. Anyway, after getting a shared tasing plate with a samosa resembling and cutting like a stone, undercooked chicken and also missing the hot lime pickle which we asked for and came post meal, we thought maybe the tindaloo was going to cut it. Well I tell you it wasn't even a one chilli rating and the chicken was dry. Managers from the kitchen tasted and agreed. We were offered two free glasses of wine to compensate which was ok I guess but then I visited the loo and was visually affronted by the "new decor" which was likened to a bad acid trip from long ago. Errrgh...... Got back into car feeling sick and still have stomach pains .BBC should have spent their $$$$ on ensuring good food rather than allowing the place to be turned into a grotesque theme park NOT resembling or representing in anyway shape or form real Indian food etc. NOT GOING BACK EVER!.
