“Tasty and fast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2014 via mobile

Have eaten here many times over the years, service is usually fast, very much a 'get people seated, fed and then moved on to make way for more diners' scenario. The prices are average, $17-$22 on most main dishes, which is cheaper than most pub meals nowadays! My partner had Tom Yum soup (very tasty) & Pad Thai (has had better he said), I had prawn cakes (nice, not amazing) but my Duck pieces cooked with chili & basil definitely the dish of the night. Very tasty. Only real downside, is the acoustics in the restaurant aren't great & is very loud. A good dinner spot prior to movies.

“Food Poisoning”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2014

I went here for dinner 2 nights ago and ordered the Shanghai Noodles. I ended up with the worst food poisoning I have ever had. Close to being taken to hospital... It was that bad!
I will definitely be avoiding this restaurant from now on.

“Quick, delicious & always piping hot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2014

Love this restaurant. As a Norwood local, we have eaten at Madame Wu's many times, and the food is always excellent. Their Choo Chee Chicken is divine, as is their Laksa Combination. We visit probably once a week as our go to restaurant of choice, when we can't be bothered to cook!

They can make it as 'hot and spicy' as you wish, and the food is always promptly delivered, and excellent. A real favourite. Nice outdoor tables if you wish for the hustle and bustle of the Parade, or inside where the decor is fun, with great quotes on the wall I always enjoy reading......a favourite of mine....."My mother served leftovers for 30 years, the original meal has never been found"....oh so true! Thank you Madame Wu :)

“Authentic Thai, cafe/restartant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

Four friends, Friday lunch, it was a great spot to have a relaxing meal. It was only open from 12 - 2:30 for lunch but the food was great. We shared chicken wings, spring rolls and satays - all very tasty. Washed it down with a couple of beers from their wide election.

Two of us had duck and another the laksa and one prawns. All authentic and reasonably priced. A nice Heggies Riesling topped off a satisfying lunch catch up.

“More Than Just a Noodle Bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Yes you can have noodles but one should try something from Madam Wu's excellent Menu. There is plenty to choose from.

My wife and I had Dinner there recently and we shared a signature dish of Lemon Chicken done Madam Wu's way along with Satay Prawns and plain rice. A delightful, tasty meal with just a hint of chilli to make the dishes interesting.

Served by pleasant staff in tasteful surroundings. Exellent.
