“A great family experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Cleland give you and your kids the chance to see Australian wildlife close-up and personal. Its a great day out from watching parrot-feeding to actually feeding kangaroos and wallabies from your hand (your kids and grandkids will love this) to watch the Tasmanisn Devils feed. Birds of all types as well. All in a good, walkable park where the animals (well most of them) range free.

Can't recommend it high enough for families.

“A great place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

There is a bus out to Cleland but the times are not very good. Driving is probably a better option.
The park is quite extensive and you can certainly pass a few hrs there.
There are a lot of native birds around and there are opportnities to get up close and personal with the wildlife
A must for any overseas visitor

“Cleland Experience”

A great place to take overseas visitors. This place always amazes them. The bird life is extensive and the hand feeds of kangaroos and emus is great. Well worth getting the photo holding a koala.

“" A Wildlife Park almost in Suburbia!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

I recently took our 10 year old grandson to this park during the school holidays. I was thrilled and amazed at the scenes that we continually came across and so was he. There were adults and children everywhere getting close to the various animals and hand feeding some of the kangaroos and wallabies. In addition, there were sheep and wombats in their own habitat, which was a novel experience. The park itself was most picturesque and car parking was easier than I expected.Quite a few families took their own picnic lunch, whilst we opted to dine at the park's busy cafe, which managed to provide nice meals with great efficiency.
