“Animals up close”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Took some Canadian friends here to see the Australian wildlife, and they were not disappointed. Kangaroos, wallabies, Emus, a Wombat, Echidnas, loads of birds and cute little native rodents everywhere. Most of the animals can be hand fed (kangaroos, Emus, rodents) and you can pay to hold a Koala and have a photo taken. Nice cafe if you get hungry/thirsty and some cool stuff in hte gift shop. Great place to take overseas visitors to see all our wildlife somewhere close to Adelaide where they aren't in little cages like the zoo.

“I LOVED seeing the animals up close”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

WOW, this was my first time seeing a kangaroo and then we had a chance to feed them as well -- just AMAZING!!! And then add holding a koala and I was in seventh heaven. Lots of other animals and the birds were also lovely!!!!

“Great place to see Aussie wildlife!”

You get close encounters with the animals - feeding kangeroos, saw koala close up, although he was a bit grumpy!
Great afternoon.

“Must do with kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

I am not such a 'zoo' fan but here I have to say it was worthwhile it. Being in Australia, you want to see the Kangaroo's and Koalas. At Cleland, you get it all and more. You can hand feed and touch the Kangaroo's which is quite an experience. For Koala's you can take pictures by standing next to them (free) or holding them (30 Dollar for 1 picture, 50 for 2, 20 for every copy). But once you've paid, they also allow for taking pictures with your own camera, they even do family photo's with your camera which I really appreciated this since you will have a digital copy afterwards.
