“Expensive and average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

It's expensive and many of the animals cannot be viewed also I feel that the zoo needs to be updated to provide better habitat areas for the animals

“This zoo is great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Went to the zoo with 5 other people. I paid concession which was only $22 but at $31.50 its a little expensive. Feeding times are good to see the animals up and about (especially the penguins). Which is why 1pm start is good, Lions 1.45pm feed, Tigers 2pm, Pelicans 2.30pm and Penguins 2.45pm (depending on days too).

I also did not have time to see the Giraffes although I definitely got value for money.

“Pandas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Lovely Zoo, especially the pandas, although on the day we visited the rest of the animals seemed to be sleeping, but they were still good to see.

“Nice zoo, close to the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Adelaide zoo is situated really close to the city and pretty much walking distance from anywhere within the city. We went on a really nice Spring day, and it was nice to have a leisurely walk around the exhibits. There are quite a lot of animals to see, however, the quality of the enclosures seems somewhat disproportionate. The pandas have a beautiful enclosure, whilst the giraffes for example, appear cramped. Overall, it is nice, well maintained zoo with the bonus of being very close to the heart of the

“Zoolicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

almost in the heart of Adelaide, you can get the free bus or tram to the Adelaide Hospital then walk about 500mtrs to the zoo, very easy walking to the zoo and around the zoo once inside, the PANDAS are a delight as are all the animals plus the free show to watch the birds flying amongst the visitors, a must see when in Adelaide
