I assume this is the Adelaide town hall and not Norwood Town Hall. Is a great landmark, have not been to a function inside for years but was always very impressive.

“Great place with good acoustics”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

Last time we visited the Town Hall was during a seminar with the Tibetan spiritual master, Sogyal Rinpoche. The hall is excellent for these kind of gatherings, but also for recitals, since the acoustics is quite good in there.

“nice ornate older building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

I have seen a couple of live shows' at this venue and the decor has always impressed me, a lovely insight into early Adelaide. This building is heritage listed and always worth a tour when they are available.

“A Beautiful Gem in Adelaide”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2011

We visited the Adelaide Town Hall by accident (for public toilets); from the outside we admired the building and the architectureand once inside we admired its elegance. On accidently heading to the far restrooms we were able to see a number of the stunning rooms in the town hall and the beautiful organ which is jaw dropping magnificient. We have seen many lovely organs around the world but I'm not sure if any compare to this. The luxury of the rooms, the feeling of history and yet the beautiful manner in which an historical building blends with its new and modern additions is lovely. I think people can tour the town hall for free and their are regular organ recitals on. Adding a visit to the Adelaide Town Hall is a must when visiting Adelaide. It will only take 10mins and you will not be disappointed.
