“Highlight of our Trip to OZ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

We love wine

This is our first trip to OZ - so pleased that we chose this company to show us around the area.

What a fantastic day - this is something that we will always remember - OH such a Great driver/guide - Dallas is so full of information.

Picked up as arranged - met some fantasatic people - just like us - love wine !!!!!!

We went to 4 fantastic wineirys -
first one - chateau yaldara
second - Peter Leamans
third - Langmeil
forth - Murray street

We loved the day - and learnt so much about the wines - it would not be right for us to say which is our favourite - they were all so fantastic - so informative - and best of all --- so friendly.

The food at Peter Lehmans was fantastic - even if you are not vegetarian - I can recommend the veggie option - the mushroom pate is to die for - we loved it

You will not believe this - we bought a fantastic bottle of PORT - it is so fantastic - has a great "peppery flavour" - we bought this because it was so special to us.

We really enjoyed this day out - and would recommend it to anyone visiting South Australia. All of the tour guys have their own special banter and every one of them wants to make this tour special to you.

Highly recommended - give it a Go - you will learn so much about wine - WE DID

“Easy to see why it's number 1 on Trip Advisor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Lots of companies offer day trips to the Barossa Valley but I chose Taste the Barossa on the strength of its TA reviews. I had an excellent day and would thoroughly recommend it. The lunch at Peter Lehmann was also great.

“Fantastic Sunday in the Barossa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

We've just come back from a wonderful day in the Barossa on Sunday. Everything about the tour was excellent. We were picked up on time, loved the fact that we had the bus to ourselves and effectively had our own private tour. Russell, our tour guide was brilliant - great fun, good knowledge and great banter - a fantastic tour guide.

The wineries we went to were brilliant, a good mix of places you would never have found if you tried to do the trip on your own with a variety of bigger and then more boutique wineries. There was also a great balance between structured tastings and more flexible tastings which gave a good balance of the wines you got to taste. Lunch at Peter Lehmans was great, very relaxed and nice and light to prevent the post lunch slump. The tour itself was well planned - you got to taste a lot of amazing wine but also got to see a few sights and left with the feeling that the day was really relaxed and not just pure wine tasting!

The booking process etc. was all brilliant too and Nikki was extremely helpful.

We would definitely recommend the tour (with Russell) and hopefully there will be a McLaren Vale tour up and running soon for us to do!

“Fantastic day seeing the sights of the Barossa and sampling wonderful wines”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

Russell our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and the group of 8 of us had a super day. The 9am start was early for a Sunday but it really was worth it, we visited some of the best wineries including Peter Lehmann, Murray Street, McGuigan and Langmeil where we tasted some of the finest Shiraz tasted within Australia. We learnt so much about the local area and the history which was great for our first time visit to Adelaide.

Russell however really did make our trip and his knowledge and friendly nature as well as great banter made it an all round great day.
